There is little doubt that Iga Swiatek remains the woman to beat at the US Open this year. The Polish superstar is chasing a sixth Grand Slam title overall, and a second success at Flushing Meadows. Swiatek won her only US Open title in 2022, and fell at the fourth round stage last year. But, she still boasts a dominant 80% win rate at the Grand Slam event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her performances already at Flushing Meadows show that she is looking incredible, winning all four of her previous matches without dropping a set. Swiatek overcame a second seeded player in the round of 16, as she breezed past Liudmila Samasonova with a final score of 6-4, 6-1.
