They&#8217;re not in the same division and have only played each other 12 times in their histories. The Bears are 8-4 overall against Carolina. Still, there are other ways for teams to be attached off the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a monumental trade, the Bears sent the first overall pick in the 2023 draft for wide receiver D.J. Moore, the 9th and 61st picks in 2023, and the Panthers&#8217; first-round pick in 2024. The Panthers used their acquired draft slot to take QB Bryce Young from Alabama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2024 pick the Bears acquired turned out to be the first overall selection, which they spent on QB Caleb Williams from USC. With Young floundering and owner David Tepper&#8217;s being know for quickly firing his coaches, Canales needed someone trustworthy to run his offense. They have that in the veteran Dalton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bears have had trouble scoring, but made strides on both sides of the ball so far this season. On the other hand, the Panthers have been one of the NFL&#8217;s worst teams.
