We saw them leapfrog their city rivals Galaxy in the final round after beating the San Jose Earthquakes 3:1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LAFC had a little bit of luck, but the main reason they finished in the No. 1 spot in the West is that they did great in the final month of the season. What\u2019s interesting, however, is that none of those was the work of Olivier Giroud. This is somewhat surprising given his pedigree \u2013 the Frenchman has scored 286 goals in his 19-years-long professional career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his previous job, he scored 15 goals for AC Milan in 35 Serie A games. With LAFC, he\u2019s played 10 MLS games but is yet to score. The reason why our prediction is that he\u2019ll do it in the LAFC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps game is that the boys from Canada aren\u2019t great defensively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After finishing 8<sup>th<\/sup> in the West, they had to play a Wild Card game against the Portland Timbers. They beat them 5:0 in what was arguably their best performance of the year. However, before thrashing the Timbers, they lost four MLS games in a row, conceding 7 goals in the process (or, over 2 per game).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of those losses happened to LAFC. The game was played in Canada and the visitors won 2:1. Now, the LAFC vs. Whitecaps game is played in California, and our betting prediction is that the hosts will win by a larger margin this time around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"lafc-vs-vancouver-whitecaps-prediction\">LAFC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps Prediction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our top LAFC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps pick is that the hosts will win.
