Despite winning, the one-score victory at home against the 5-5 Sooners wasn&#8217;t all that impressive. Missouri&#8217;s top wins both came at home by narrow margins. Coupled with two blowout losses and the Tigers have work to do to prove themselves to the CFP committee. Expected to be a middling SEC team, the 3-2 Gamecocks were hardly in CFP contention. However, a narrow 2-point loss to Alabama on the road ignited something within South Carolina. Since then, they are 3-0 with strong wins over Texas A&amp;M and Vanderbilt. The Gamecocks have outscored their opponents 107-36 in that span.
