Will OKC get back on track in our Thunder vs Nets prediction?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"cavs-looking-to-extend-two-game-win-streak\">Thunder Coming Off Road Loss Against Mavericks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the heels of a blowout 134-114 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Thunder followed that up with a 106-98 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night. Although Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sat out with a wrist sprain, OKC produced a scoring attack in which all five starters reached double figures.  Jalen Williams paced the team&#8217;s offense with 19 points, six assists, and five rebounds.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lu Dort added 18 points and five rebounds on 6-for-10 shooting from the field and a 6-for-8 effort from beyond the arc. Aaron Wiggins and Jaylin Williams finished with 12 points each, while Cason Wallace chipped in with 10 points, six rebounds, five assists, and four steals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The game seemed to be over at the break, with Dallas leading 63-43. However, the Thunder fought back and were within five points (98-93) in the waning moments of this contest. Unfortunately, Spencer Dinwiddie hit a huge 3-pointer, pushing the Mavericks&#8217; lead back to eight points with 1:20 left to play in regulation. Dallas is now the only team to defeat the Thunder twice this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"okc-seeking-third-straight-blowout-win\">Nets Hope To End Two-Game Slide<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other side, after a 132-114 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Jan. 14, the Nets have dropped their last two games, including a 102-101 decision to the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night. D&#8217;Angelo Russell (who comes off the bench) scored a team-high 19 points, grabbed six rebounds and handed out eight assists. He was also 5-for-10 from 3-point range. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tosan Evbuomwan and Ziaire Williams finished with 15 points each, while Keon Johnson added 13. Coming off a franchise-record 59-point loss against the LA Clippers in their previous outing, the Nets had a chance to win the game, but Russell&#8217;s 3-point attempt was unsuccessful<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"cavaliers-vs-nuggets-prediction-cavaliers-win-a-close-one\">Thunder vs Nets Prediction: OKC Gets The &#8220;W&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Thunder have won four of their last five games, and each of those wins was by an average of 25.5 points per contest. OKC is ranked in the top 10 from an offensive standpoint and boasts the league&#8217;s top defense. Meanwhile, the Nets are a mediocre team at both ends of the floor, and they have dropped eight of their previous 10 contests.
