Eric Gordon has signed a three-deal extension with the Houston Rockets, with a possible two-year extension also on the cards, Associated Press sources have confirmed.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Houston Rockets to Keep Eric Gordon, Sources Reveal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With the Houston Rockets<\/a> seeing a good 2018\/2019 season, the team still has some things to sort ou. The Rockets want to guarantee a better placement in the new year. Based on Associated Press <\/strong>sources, Eric Gordon <\/strong>has agreed to a contract extension<\/a> and will continue playing with the Rockets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The extension is for another three years. Understandably, this signals Gordon’s commitment to the team as well as Rockets’ appreciation of the player. However, the news hasn’t been confirmed by the team or the player’s manager. The AP’s source said that a further extension of two additional years was also discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If this happens to be the case, Gordon is looking at a total deal that would bring him $76 million<\/strong>, making him one of the most expensive players in the NBA. Gordon’s stay with the team, specifically in the final year, however, may be contingent on other factors as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, he would need to be selected an All-Star player. Similarly, the Rockets would need to have won a championship. Earning an average of $18 million on year, Gordon is definitely not too worried about not making it through to the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet, the player seems committed to his team. He’s part of the very core of the Rockets which put them up against the Golden State Warriors in a much-challenged game series in 2019. Other members of the Rockets star team include James Harden, Russell Westbrook, and Clint Capela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Houston Rockets Are Working Hard(en)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Rockets have definitely a lot to pick up in this new season. Having come close to the finals, they are bound to try even harder to secure themselves a spot. James Harden has been working hard on his step-back three-throw technique which has been going viral over social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harden has worked hard on signing himself with his one-legged three-shot move. He has already been caught on camera shooting on one leg during fouls, but as the player himself puts it<\/a>:

Yet, Harden is not going to gamble his team’s chances of success based on his desire to coin a signature move. Instead, he will focus on contribute as much as he can. When the game’s stakes are too high, The Beard is going to shoot the good old-fashioned way. Standing on his own two legs instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
