With a series of punches, the Mexican boxer managed to relieve Joshua of the <a href=\"https:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/2019\/06\/02\/us\/heavyweight-championship-tko\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">IBF, WBA and WBO titles<\/a>. <strong>Tyson Fury <\/strong>said that it was the end of Joshua as a boxer.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yet,\nnot all is settled. Anthony Joshua will be coming back for a rematch\nin <strong>Saudi Arabi<\/strong>a on <strong>December<\/strong> <strong>7<\/strong> and Sky Sports\nwill be broadcasting the event. Joshua seemed optimistic about his\nchances during a press conference earlier today, <strong>September<\/strong> <strong>5<\/strong>.\n &#8216;A little blip shouldn&#8217;t change you,&#8217; he mused. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nCommenting\non his upcoming fight against Ruiz, Joshua said that he felt\nconfident and that he knew what he was in for. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>I can become familiar with him. In fact, I know what I&#8217;m in for. I know what I&#8217;m capable of. I know what he&#8217;s capable of . Also, I know some of the attributes he possesses, and some of the weaknesses. I have to go about exposing him a little bit more. <\/em> <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>He\nalso commented his strategy during the first fight. For example, when\nRuiz was down on the floor the first time around, Joshua ruminated,\nhe could have been a little more careful about how the boxer would\nrespond. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ruiz\nwas also rather composed. He quickly said that both fighters will be\nbringing &#8216;their game,&#8217; plain and simple. Yet, none of the fighters\nseemed to harbor any ill will towards one another, which is always a\ngood thing to see in boxing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nThe Mexican fighter also shared that he felt Joshua like a friend,\nbut as the re-match approaches, Ruiz noted that there would be no\nfriends inside the ring. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-did-joshua-lose\">How Did Joshua Lose?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\nThe surprising knockout against Ruiz definitely caught the public by\nsurprise. Joshua had gone undefeated until his fight against the\nMexican opponent. More importantly, that was the first time the\nBriton arrived on American soil to box. Yet, he lost and when he was\nrecovering from a series of heavy hits,  he just signed his surrender\nat the end\u2013 for a want of better word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/boxing\/48605946\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Tyson Fury said that Joshua was &#8216;finished&#8217;<\/a> because of Joshua decision not to continue. In honesty, however, Joshua may have made the right decision. Joshua had said in interviews before that his top priority was to lead a healthy life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nHis priority in the ring was not only winning the title, but also to\nmake sure that the other boxer was alright.
