However, he picked up an injury while on international duty, which could keep him out for the next six weeks. The injury couldn\u2019t have come at a worse stage of the season for the Bavarian giants, as they come up against one of the strongest defences in Europe this season on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lewandowski was in excellent form in the previous round, as he scored twice across the two games with Lazio. Bayern eventually ran out comfortable 6-2 winners on aggregate against the Italian giants. Their big win over the two legs came away from home, as they beat Lazio 4-1 in Italy. Bayern remain among the favourites to win the Champions League this season, and should they play at their peak, then it will prove testing for any opposition that they come up against. However, this challenge against PSG could be their biggest test in the competition this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"psg-hoping-to-go-one-better-this-season\">PSG Hoping To Go One Better This Season<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Champions League remains the one trophy that has eluded PSG since their financial takeover over ten years ago. The closest that they came to winning the famous trophy came last season, but they were narrowly beaten by Bayern in the final. They will be hoping to go one better this season under the stewardship of Mauricio Pochettino. PSG\u2019s domestic form has been very disappointing throughout the season, and there is a good chance that they could miss out on winning the Ligue 1 title this term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, in the Champions League, they have been excellent. One of PSG\u2019s greatest nights in the competition came in the previous round, as they beat Barcelona 4-1 at the Camp Nou.
