From that moment, they were able to sit back and wait for counter-attacking opportunities. Canada dominated the possession, but just didn\u2019t have the creative flair in the attacking third to trouble the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"jamaica-denied-top-spot\">Jamaica Denied Top Spot<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Jamaica will try and make life as difficult as possible for the United States on Sunday evening, as they have been impressive at both ends of the pitch to this point. They have scored four goals in the three games that they have played. However, a 1-0 defeat against Costa Rica on the final matchday meant that they were forced to settle for second spot in the group.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their progression through to the next round was already assured after the opening two games, as they overcame Suriname and Guadeloupe. Jamaica were made to work hard in the latter of those games, as they went behind early on after an own goal from Amari Bell. However, they came back well. The United States have won the majority of the fixtures, as they have recorded 17 wins.
