The left-hander has obviously lost a bit, and he&#8217;s allowed at least 4ER in 4 of his last 5 starts. Bumgarner has a 6.94 ERA in two August starts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>San Francisco has no time to get sentimental on Monday night as they are six games back from the final spot in the wild card race. The Giants are doing their best to reach the postseason, sweeping Pittsburgh over the weekend to go 6-2 over their last 8 overall.  SF is just 1-5 in their last 6 Monday games though and are 5-16 their last 21 against the NL West. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alex Cobb<\/strong> (3-6, 4.15 ERA) is on the hill for the Giants on Monday night trying to lower a 4.76 ERA through two starts in August.
