The Tigers are big favorites to get off on the winning track in the offshore odds as they try to rebound from a 10-3 season a year ago. 10-3 sounds good for most teams, but this is a squad used to playing in the CFP so a Cheez-It Bowl win over Iowa State wasn&#8217;t exactly rewarding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Georgia Tech is getting over three TDs on the offshore odds in the season opener, but when we last saw them in 2021 they were getting beat 55-0 by Notre Dame and then 45-0 by Georgia the last two games of the season. GT did play Clemson close last year though, losing 14-8 in week three as +27.5 underdogs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clemson is giving a lot of points for a team with some uncertainty at QB after <strong>DJ Uiagalelei<\/strong> struggled with 10 INTs to just 9 TDs a season ago. Uiagalelei completed just 55.6% of his passes, a far cry from 2020 when he filled in for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenvilleonline.com\/story\/sports\/college\/clemson\/2022\/09\/01\/cade-klubnik-clemson-football-quarterback-dabo-swinney-dj-uiagalelei\/7844001001\/\">future #1 pick<\/a> <strong>Trevor Lawrence <\/strong>and had 5TD to 0 INT while completing 66.7% of his throws. The Tigers had the #95 total yard offense in the country last season after being 11th in 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If Uiagalelei hasn&#8217;t improved then this will be a very low scoring game, especially since Clemson has a top 10 defense that returns seven starters from the squad that allowed just 14.8 ppg a year ago.
