Chicago has a 19-10 win over San Francisco in the rain and slop and then held on to beat the lowly Texans by a field goal last Sunday. New York has won by a combined 4 points over Tennessee and Carolina before losing 23-16 to Dallas playing a backup QB last Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both teams think they can win this game and it&#8217;s almost surprising that the Giants are around a field goal favorite on the offshore odds. That&#8217;s not because Chicago is good, it&#8217;s because New York is banged up as QB <strong>Daniel Jones<\/strong> will be missing <strong>Kadarius Toney<\/strong>, <strong>Wan&#8217;Dale Robinson<\/strong>, and <strong>Sterling Shepard<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/giantswire.usatoday.com\/2022\/09\/29\/new-york-giants-place-sterling-shepard-ir-sign-fabian-moreau-off-practice-squad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">who is out for the year with an Achilles tear<\/a>) from a passing game that wasn&#8217;t very good to begin with. That should allow Chicago to focus more on stopping <strong>Saquon Barkley<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Giants are also missing <strong>Leonard Williams<\/strong> on their defensive line and Chicago has the #2 rushing offense in the league after three games.
