Memphis is on a two game losing streak following back-to-back 124-123 and 121-105 losses to the Jazz in Salt Lake City. Those defeats do raise some concerns with the Grizzlies defense early on as they’ve now allowed 120+ points in five of their last six games. Memphis now ranks dead last in points allowed at 121.4 ppg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Portland should be able to run up and down the court against the Grizzlies on Wednesday as they are well rested following their 125-111 win over the Rockets that was all the way back on Friday. It was a nice bounce back game for the Trail Blazers following their first (and only) loss of the season last Wednesday which came 119-98 at home to the Heat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Memphis could be down a couple starters on Wednesday with Steven Adams<\/strong> (jaw) and Desmond Bane<\/strong> (ankle) both questionable. Bane has 31+ points in three straight games so his loss would be huge, and Adams’ size would be missed against a top 10 rebounding team in Portland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
