At first glance this game looks like it could be a defensive struggle (O\/U 46.5) with Baltimore getting some new additions to their unit ahead of the Ravens vs Saints matchup and New Orleans coming off a 24-0 shutout of the Raiders last week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"before-betting-on-ravens-vs-saints\">Before Betting on Ravens vs Saints<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Baltimore traded for Chicago LB Roquan Smith this week, trying to bolster a defense that is 23rd in the NFL in total yards allowed (364.3). Perhaps they should have traded for a lockdown corner instead, because where the Ravens really struggle is vs. the pass (266.8 ypg, 28th in the NFL). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Baltimore being somewhat vulnerable against the pass is a nice matchup for the Saints, with QB <strong>Andy Dalton<\/strong> completing 22\/30 passes vs. Las Vegas with 2 TDs and throwing for 361 yards and 4 TDs the game prior vs. Arizona. The most important stat line Dalton put up last week is 0 &#8211; as in interceptions after he threw 3 vs. the Cardinals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Roquan Smith was traded to the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Ravens?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Ravens<\/a> for a 2nd, 5th and A.J. The Saints had allowed 30+ points in three straight before last week so Baltimore&#8217;s offense should be able to chunk together some scoring here.
