Both Baylor (5-2) and Gonzaga (5-2) have suffered a couple more early season trip-ups than they’re probably accustomed to, but that’s what happens when you test yourself early in the year instead of loading up the non-conference schedule with tomato cans. Baylor can leave it all on the floor on Friday night as they won’t play again until December 18th. The Bears don’t want to go into that break on a two game losing streak after they were upended 90-76 in Marquette on Tuesday night as -4.5 favorites. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Giving up 90 to Marquette obviously shows some defensive flaws from Baylor, which isn’t good heading into a meeting with a Gonzaga squad that led the nation in scoring last season<\/a>. BU also allowed 86 points to Virginia in a tournament game in Vegas a couple weeks ago and although the Cavaliers are up to #3 in the country they’re also not really known for their offense. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
