They will have home advantage as they come up against the Calgary Flames, who will be looking for a second straight win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"before-betting-on-flames-vs-sharks\">Before Betting On Flames vs Sharks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It hasn\u2019t been exactly the start to the season that both the Calgary Flames and San Jose Sharks would have been hoping for this term, as both currently sit out of the playoff positions in the Western Conference. However, the Flames are the most likely of the two to get involved in that race, as they currently sit fifth in the Pacific Division standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They have been in slightly inconsistent form over their previous ten, as they have picked up just four wins over that period. However, they have also lost three times in regulation. But, they do come into this fixture after picking up a victory in their previous game, as they landed a 5-2 success against the Sharks earlier this week. The Flames scored three goals in the final period of that game, with Elias Lindholm scoring twice, and further goals in the victory being added by Dilon Dube and Tyler Toffoli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sharks will be hoping for immediate revenge following that defeat, as they would have been extremely disappointed with how quickly they folded in the final period. Their goals in that defeat were scored by Tomas Hertl and Timo Meier, with Erik Karlsson also ending the game with two assists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the Sharks still sit low down in the Western Conference standings at this stage of the season, as they have gone 10-17-6 this term. They have picked up just three victories from their previous ten games, and have lost four times in regulation over the same period.
