The Terrapins got beat up in conference play, with all five of their losses coming to Big Ten opponents that are going to bowl games while NC State got befelled by injuries after a 4-0 start but still finished the regular season in the top 25. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"before-betting-on-the-dukes-mayo-bowl\">Before Betting on the Duke&#8217;s Mayo Bowl<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>NC State QB <strong>Devin Leary<\/strong> is taking his talents <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbssports.com\/college-football\/news\/devin-leary-transferring-to-kentucky-ex-nc-state-star-qb-provides-instant-boost-for-wildcats-offense\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">through the transfer portal to Lexington<\/a>, to be the heir apparent for possible NFL #1 draft pick <strong>Will Levis<\/strong> at Kentucky. Leary&#8217;s loss is big for the Wolfpack, but at the same time it isn&#8217;t as he&#8217;s been out since injuring his pectoral in week 16. With backup <strong>MJ Morris<\/strong> questionable and <strong>Jack Chambers<\/strong> falling out of favor with this staff it looks like one time QB4 <strong>Ben Finley<\/strong> has the best possible chance to start on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finley finished out the year as the starter, but it&#8217;s the #21 ranked defense that the Wolfpack are going to rely on in this game.
