The Big 12 is a gauntlet this season, and two of the teams right in the midst of that meet up on Tuesday night in Manhattan. #17 TCU (17-6) and #12 Kansas State (18-5) are both 6-4 in the conference and part of a four way tie for third place. TCU has lost four of their last five conference road games, but at the same time you can’t automatically brush them aside here as they do own away victories at #9 Kansas (83-60) and #14 Baylor (88-87) on the season. The big thing working against the Horned Frogs is the continued absence of Mike Miles, Jr.,<\/strong> their leading scorer (18.1 ppg) who remains out indefinitely with a knee injury<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n TCU has gone 1-2 since Miles, Jr.’s injury, beating West Virginia at home 76-72 but also losing road tilts at Mississippi State (81-74) and most recently at Oklahoma State (79-73) on Saturday. Miles, Jr. had 13 points to go along with 11 assists in the first meeting with KSU, but TCU showed nice depth as Emanuel Miller<\/strong> (23) and Eddie Lampkin, Jr.<\/strong> (17) combined for 40 points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
