Somewhat surprisingly the Chiefs are +1.5 underdogs at the offshore sportsbooks, but here are some reasons why they can cover that number. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"before-betting-on-chiefs-super-bowl-lvii\">Before Betting on Chiefs Super Bowl LVII<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the big reasons for liking Kansas City on Sunday is just their experience, playing in the Super Bowl for the third time in the last four seasons. KC coach <strong>Andy Reid<\/strong> also made a Super Bowl when he was with the Eagles in 2004 so this is a walk in the park for him. This is the biggest game of the season watched by nearly 100 million people in the United States last year, and sometimes that pressure gets to players and coaches who have never been here before. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other main reason to like the Chiefs +1.5 is because of <strong>Patrick Mahomes<\/strong>, who threw for 5,250 yards and 41 TDs in the regular season. Mahomes<a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/nfl\/chiefs\/gameday\/kc-chiefs-qb-patrick-mahomes-suffers-right-leg-injury-vs-jacksonville-jaguars\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> injured his ankle in the divisional round<\/a> against the Jaguars, but still had 326 yards and 2 TDs in the win over Cincinnati in the AFC Championship Game.
