That&#8217;s not a real shocker considering Chiefs QB <strong>Patrick Mahomes<\/strong> (+130) was the NFL MVP this year while Eagles QB <strong>Jalen Hurts<\/strong> (+140) probably could have been had he not missed a couple of games with injuries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Defensive players have won the MVP in the past <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihavenet.com\/nfl-superbowl-V-colts-cowboys.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">starting with LB <strong>Chuck Howley<\/strong> of the Cowboys<\/a> way back at Super Bowl V and most recently <strong>Von Miller<\/strong> with Denver in 2016. It will be tough to unseat either Mahomes, Hurts, or <strong>Travis Kelce<\/strong> in this year&#8217;s game, but that doesn&#8217;t mean there isn&#8217;t some money to be made on defensive sack props for Super Bowl LVII. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The hometown kid put on for his city \ud83e\udd85<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Haason7Reddick?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Haason7Reddick<\/a> | <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Eagles?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Eagles<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/LeGpQOLzHU\">pic.twitter.com\/LeGpQOLzHU<\/a><\/p>&mdash; NFL Films (@NFLFilms) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NFLFilms\/status\/1620460169133199363?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 31, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"super-bowl-lvii-defensive-sack-props\">Super Bowl LVII Defensive Sack Props<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You would have liked to see some higher odds across the board for Sunday&#8217;s defensive sack props considering both Mahomes and Hurts have above average mobility, but Mahomes did get sacked 3X vs the Bengals in the AFC Championship game. The 49ers &#8211; even with defensive POY <strong>Nick Bosa<\/strong> &#8211; only got Hurts one time in the NFC Championship game for a 0 yard loss so it looks better to focus on Eagles players for this prop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Haason Reddick 1+ (-167), 2+ (+225)<\/strong> &#8211; Reddick could make a stake for Super Bowl MVP with a single sack if it ends up taking out Mahomes, which is essentially what Reddick did in the NFC Championship Game <a href=\"https:\/\/www.philadelphiaeagles.com\/video\/highlight-haason-reddick-s-sack-vs-brock-purdy-results-in-forced-fumble-followin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">knocking out the 49ers&#8217; <strong>Brock Purdy<\/strong><\/a>. Either way, oddsmakers are pretty determined Reddick gets at least one sack on Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Brandon Graham 1+ (+154), 2+ (+600) <\/strong>&#8211; The Chiefs saw what Reddick did to the 49ers, so they&#8217;re going to put all their extra blockers to whatever sides he lines up on. That makes Graham&#8217;s job a whole lot easier and bringing down Mahomes would be a nice capper on a comeback season after tearing his Achilles in week 3 last year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Haason Reddick and Brandon Graham working on their pass rush moves<br><br>Eagles have 78 sacks. Like Graham, Sweat benefits from all the attention that Reddick will receive on Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Frank Clark 1+ (+127), 2+ (+600)<\/strong> &#8211; Hurts has more designed runs than Mahomes, and if the Eagles QB runs out of bounds before gaining a yard the nearest person gets credited for a sack. Clark is likely going to be in the vicinity regardless, getting to <strong>Trevor Lawrence<\/strong> once in the divisional round and credited with 1.5 sacks against <strong>Joe Burrow<\/strong> in the AFC Championship Game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chris Jones 1+ (-117), 2+ (+250)<\/strong> &#8211; Jones seems like a sure thing here and the odds reflect it.
