The good news for either Oklahoma State (16-11) or West Virginia (15-12) is that a losing streak will come to an end when the two schools meet up in Morgantown on Monday night. Of course the flip side of that is the loser continues to denigrate their tournament resume, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to call this contest a must-win for both teams. The offshore odds have WVU a decent sized favorite despite the fact the Cowboys have won four of the last five in the series. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Oklahoma State has had two main issues recently, first off their defense which just gave up 100 points in a loss to TCU on Saturday (100-75<\/a>) following their 87-76 loss to Kansas last week. West Virginia is the 5th highest scoring team in the Big 12 <\/p>\n\n\n\n Both TCU and Kansas are top 25 teams so those losses can be forgiven a bit for Oklahoma State, plus OSU had won 7 of 8 prior to the two defeats. The other quandary still facing the Cowboys though is that they remain without Avery Anderson III<\/strong>, the experienced senior who is sidelined with a wrist injury.
