As the Euro is a knockout tournament with a short format, two futures markets prove to be the most popular with bettors: who will win the tournament and who will finish as the top scorer.
Euro 2024 Winner Odds
The most popular market by far, and the reason why everyone is watching: There’s only one prize and that’s for the overall winner of the competition. England (+285) opened as the favorites to win the competition for the first time ever but faces competition from France (+400), the hosts Germany (+550), Portugal and Spain (both +800), and holders Italy (+1600).
These odds will change as the tournament advances, and you can find the best live Euro 2024 winner odds available below:
Sometimes known as the Golden Boot award, there’s a popular betting market for the player who will finish as the top goalscorer in Euro 2024. Although the official award can also take into account assists and minutes played to determine the winner in the event of a tie, most sportsbooks will use dead heat rules if two players score the same number of goals. Goals scored in extra time do count, but those in penalty shootouts do not.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the holder of the award and third favorite to do it again, opening with odds of +1200, but he’s behind Harry Kane (+550) and Kylian Mbappe (+500). This is a hard market to predict because you need to take into account how far the player’s country will go and also how prolific they are for their country.
